1st Pediatrician Visit

Dana had her first visit to the pediatrician visit today. This was her 2 week check up. She was a great sport. She received her Hepatitis B vaccine and her 2nd newborn screen for the state (where they draw some blood). I think Ari freaked out more over the needle from the Hep B vaccine than she did. For future visits, I'll be the one holding her during her shots.

She is doing great in terms of growth. She weighed in at 6 lbs. 3 ounces and 19 1/2 inches long. She is still only in the 5% percentile on the growth charts for weight, but she still isn't even at full term yet. The doctor was happy with her growth and she is doing it all on breast milk, so we are even better. We still need to work on the actually breast feeding, but that is a side issue.

Our little ducky after her bath, which was much happier now that her umbilical cord is off.

We don't know how she ends up in these positions, but we find them hilarious. Almost as funny as her poops.
