We are members of the Dallas Arboretum, so we decided to take Dana to see all the pretty flowers and have a picnic during Dallas Blooms. The Arboretum redoes their flowers every year for Dallas Blooms with all sorts of tulips, narcissus, and other early spring flowers. It is my favorite display at the Arboretum. It was a beautiful day and we even got to see a Monarch butterfly. The Monarch population has decreased sharply over the last year, so I was very excited to see one. They usually stop in Dallas during their migration south to Mexico. It was a rare opportunity and we enjoyed it.
